Secondly I would have to agree to some extend that if I knew I only had 30 days to live that I would become pretty selfish I would do what I always wanted to do and let the rest fall where it may. If I had 30 days to live, I'd take the money I have and give it to my family. I could waste it on worthless materialistic things but it wouldn't be there when I'm gone. People die everyday without warning. I'm just happy for the blessing of my life thus far, the gift of life today. I put my heart into everything I do and I'm happy. I'm just one tiny speck in time, remembering that keeps me humble.

Comment on Relating to Others

I'm the opposite. I just need to break out of my shell and become more confident when I talk with people though. This weekend with Manny sparked that fire that had begun to fizzle out!

Comment on Meetings Suck!

"Crap" I hope no one from your meeting is reading your blog!

LB

Comment on Seeing What You Believe

Oh, I believe that people won't tell their pastor the truth a lot of times, particularly if the pastor is trying to find out if the church is serving its people, what the pastor can do better, etc. Its less threatening to tell a business owner whose company you use what they can improve on for sure. Less emotional overlay. I think the process of "customer survey" for churches needs to have a different approach than for businesses.
Comment on Seeing What You Believe

Two Thoughts - one, in my line of work, I find that people rarely tell me what they really think. At least the people that I want to hear from and will receive it from. The only people I usually hear from are the people that aren't really interested in helping or being constructive - they just want to get their parting shot in.
Two - my wife says I live this way...only seeing things the way I want to see them!

Comment on Golf Galaxy

Have fun- hope it goes well!

Comment on I'm Back!!

I read it too - how else would I know you had a hernia operation and went on vacation?
